TONED, SLEEK, and STRONG

Being a personal trainer is a VERY satisfying job, especially when I have amazing testimonies to share. I am honored to share a story with you about some one who had a goal of gaining muscles, creating tone, and getting those attractive cut lines.
Meet Hannah Jones ! Let me start by saying… THIS CHICK GIVES IT HER ALL ! She shows up to her personal training sessions ON TIME…always has a good attitude, and is willing to SWEAT… HARD!
It has been so fun and easy training her because of her willingness to PUSH herself, AND her ability to DO HER HOMEWORK.
Often times people think hiring a personal trainer is the secret key to getting in shape. But let’s be honest, seeing a personal trainer only 2 times a week is NOT going to give you fantastic results, UNLESS you do your homework. The way Hannah does! She makes a conscious effort to eat right, she dutifully goes to the gym on her own time. She puts the work IN, to get the results OUT!
And it is paying off…
Hannah started off being 20 % body fat, which is GREAT!
But after personal training for only a couple months she is an even more LEAN and CUT 18 % body fat!
She has gotten SO much stronger… initially only being able to do 3 or 4 pushups on her toes, she can now bang out 12-15 pushups on her toes. Also, when we first started, I remember how her legs would wobble and shake during lunges, but NOW, she can lunge WITH WEIGHT … with perfect form and control. All those lunges were WORTH the pain because her legs firmed up so much and developed such a brand new sexy shape. Hannah used to seldom wear shorts, because of her dissatisfaction with her legs. BUT NOW, she rocks shorts all the time… and she is CONFIDENT in them.

I started working out with Laurie five months ago. I began doing sessions with her with the intent to get some ideas for the gym and get motivated to lift weights. I would do cardio at the gym, but when it came to lifting, I would wander around aimlessly trying to figure out what to do! Over the past five months, I have gained not only knowledge about fitness, but confidence, (and a nice set of guns, too)! I go into the gym with a plan and am comfortable lifting, even with all the boys in the free weight area. While I was not looking to lose weight, I did want to tone up, and Laurie definitely accomplished this and more. I have gained a better understanding of fitness, established a good workout regime and overall , I feel better about myself. Laurie is an amazing trainer; she lives her job and models what a balanced and fit life is all about. One thing that is great about Laurie is that she practices moderation. While she works out and eats well, she is not afraid to indulge in desserts, comfort food, and a couple days off from the gym while on vacation. She does this with balance and moderation. This is an encouragement to someone like me- I have a major sweet tooth. Laurie is passionate about her job and her clients; she pushes me to my limits, and keeps me accountable to my fitness goals and has given me a better understanding of what it means to be fit. She has been accommodating to my schedule by getting up at the crack of dawn to do 4:45am sessions. Let me tell you, she is peppy, motivated and ready to work out at this time! Not only have I found a personal trainer in Laurie, but a friend and a role model.
