Even I, as a <a href="http://http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/about/">Scottsdale personal trainer</a>, can hate it too believe it or not.Â Stop and think why for a second. Could it be because working your legs creates a HUGE burn, LOTS of pain and TONS of sweat. Sounds to me like the kind of workout that gives BIG results.</p><p>Plus, as a Scottsdale personal trainer, I know how important shorts are in 100+ degree weather. Let&#8217;s get some nice legs to go with those shorts! <img src='http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p><p>Legs are easily the most important part of the body to work! I know, I know&#8230; working the <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/2011/04/23/stability-ball-core-work/">&#8220;core&#8221;</a> is all the rage right now.Â I understand of its importance, but it&#8217;s time to take legs offÂ the back burner and discover why we NEED to give them more attention. So many problems can stem from weak leg muscles. Your ankle, knee and hip joints will all suffer if you do not have strong muscles surrounding them. Tendons and ligaments simply can not do it on their own. Having strong, fit leg muscles will help to keep your joints minimally stressed. Properly building up your leg muscles will keep your entire body balanced and well protected from injuries. As a<a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/about/"> Scottsdale personal trainer</a>, I see so many people with imbalances and deviations in their body due to them ignoring their legs in the gym.</p><p>Don&#8217;t you want to lower your risk of ever needing a cane, or knee replacement?!?! Like it has been said &#8220;Use it, or lose it!&#8221;</p><p>In addition,<a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/2011/04/26/4-stability-ball-leg-exercises/"> leg workouts</a> majorly boost your calorie burn, way more than the smaller muscles of your upper body. Think of the size of your leg muscles compared to your biceps or shoulders. Working such big muscle groups forces your body to work harder, therefore using more energy resulting in <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/tips-on-nutrition/">calorie slashing.</a> Plus, your metabolism will be elevated for a longer amount of time. Who doesn&#8217;t love that!?!?</p><p>As a Scottsdale personal trainer, I always hear people tell me that they work their legs by walking.Â Sorry guys, but that does not constitute as working out your legs! If you want the REAL benefits do the REAL work!Â Lunges, squats, dead lifts and jumping routines are all examples of leg exercises that will set you up for a lifetime of mobility.</p><p><a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/fitness-tips/4-stability-ball-leg-exercises/">Leg work out</a>s are grueling, I know! The results and benefits associated with them are undeniably incredible! You can have them.
