THE BIKE WILL BEAT YOU UP

I admit, even as a Scottsdale personal trainer, I have looked at the stationary bike as the mode for the lazy! An easy way to do nothing while faking that you are exercising. It wasn’t until when I took a spin class on a cruise that I was awakened to the fact that biking “done right” is not for pansies!
Yet, the key point I want to make is biking must be “done right.” In other words, you must work up a rigorous sweat. As a Scottsdale personal trainer I have witnessed people set dinner reservations on their cell phone while “working out”. You simply can not pedal along while stopping to smell the roses.
