I got the news about Sally Meyerhoff passing away when I was at work in between some personal training sessions. I read a news article from my phone about it and instantly the emotions began kicking in. I tried to bottle it up and pull myself together for my next client who was already warming up in the room over, but I just couldn’t. My eyes welled up with tears and I just began weeping. As I talked to others about it throughout the day, I discovered that I was not alone in my admiration for Sally. Though I, and others, may not have known her personally, she still left a recognizable impact.
