			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What if I told you that choosing to be <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/tips-on-nutrition/">healthy</a> not only affects just you, but other people too?</p><p>Well it does. Whether Violet is at a personal training session withÂ her mom and myself, or whether Violet is watching her mom do <a href="http://http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/the-core/3-at-home-ab-exercises/">exercises at home</a>, Violet is getting exposed to exercise. Violet will grow up with exercise being a regular part of her life.Â Being active by going on walks, playing outside, and watching/joining her mom work out is part of a normal week for Violet. The impact all this has on Violet should not be underestimated.</p><p>Think of how powerful this is.</p><p>Brandi&#8217;s dedication to exercising is teaching Violet important values. Brandi is showing her daughter how to respect the body, to honor it, and to take care of what you have been given. Exercise and <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/2011/04/28/fat-loss-foods/">healthy eating</a> are simple ways Brandi can lay Violet&#8217;s foundation for things like self respect, confidence, and goal setting.</p><p>This concept is really true for everyone and anyone. HEALTHY PEOPLE ARE CONTAGIOUS! Unfortunately this can be true in the reverse too though&#8230; UNHEALTHY people can be contagious.</p><p>How is easy is it to get that 3rd glass of wine when everyone else is too?</p><p>How easy is it to be talked in to ordering Oreganos pazzokie <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/2010/04/21/sugar-and-salt-the-s-words/">dessert</a> even though you are ALREADY STUFFED?</p><p>How is easy is it to skip the gym when your <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/personal.html">workout buddy</a> wants to go to a movie instead?</p><p>How easy is it for your roommate to talk you into more episodes of LOST instead of doing that walk you guys talked about?</p><p>So, in terms of sticking to your health goals, be sure you surround yourself with like minded people that you respect and that will inspire you to live healthier. Can you think of the last time you changed your<a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/2011/03/21/from-fruit-to-root-beer-floats-satisfy-your-sweet-tooth-the-smart-way/"> diet </a>or activities for the better? Who was involved? What motivated you? I bet it was someone who is regularly in your life.</p><p>What if YOU could inspire people!!!??!!! Maybe if you start to be more healthy, then those you spend time with will also want to take care of their bodies better too.What if you could be an example to those around you? You don&#8217;t have to talk about it all the time or brag about it&#8230;just DO IT!</p><p>Less TV, more evening walks. Less bread, more salad. Less beer, more water. Whatever an HONEST step toward healthÂ looks like for YOU, take it!Â Take care of yourself, and I promise, people will notice.Â Trust me, people rub off on other people. And guess what?</p><p>HEALTHY PEOPLE ARE CONTAGIOUS!</p><p>As you make efforts to be more healthy remember that the people in your life will probably react 1 of 2 ways:</p><p>1)Â Some people may scoff at, or even try to sabotage your efforts, or simply be envious.</p><p>2)Â They will be happy for you and maybe even jump on board too and be encouraged/inspired/motivated to live a better, healthier life for themselves.</p><p>I hope that the type of people you surround yourself with are more like number 2.</p><p> <img src='http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></content:encoded>
