Salute to the beater

I “inherited” this 1996 Forerunner from my husband when we got married. He volunteered to give me our new car and said he would keep the old beater, but I refused. I LOVE this Toyota. It has over 120,000 miles, but it still runs like butter!
As a Scottsdale personal trainer that also does in-home personal training sessions, I take this car all over the valley. It may not be much to look at it, with all its dents and rust, but it has never failed me.
It’s silly but I wanted to write a blog about the forerunner to remember it because I never know when it might peace out on me. My independent personal training business started with this car and I just wanted to get a snapshot memory of the old beast. So beater, I salute you!
I used to have an ad(pictured on the left) on the side windows… but I ended up getting too many “creepy” calls so I took it down. Plus, driving around with your face on your car is just really bizarre and weird. I realized that AFTER the fact obviously.
