He volunteered to give me our new car and said he would keep the old beater, but I refused. I LOVE this Toyota. It has over 120,000 miles, but it still runs like butter!

As a Scottsdale personal trainer that also does in-home personal training sessions, I take this car all over the valley. It may not be much to look at it, with all its dents and rust, but it has never failed me.

It’s silly but I wanted to write a blog about the forerunner to remember it because I never know when it might peace out on me. My independent personal training business started with this car and I just wanted to get a snapshot memory of the old beast. So beater, I salute you!

I used to have an ad(pictured on the left) on the side windows… but I ended up getting too many “creepy” calls so I took it down. Plus, driving around with your face on your car is just really bizarre and weird. I realized that AFTER the fact obviously. BUT, I will say, as Scottsdale personal trainer, I did get some calls and leads for business from the ad.

So now, all that I have left on the carĀ is the ad on the back window(even though it is my old companies name). Yet, it still drives business into my doors. Just the other day, a lady called me because she saw my car cruising down Scottsdale Road. She ended up meeting up with me and purchasing personal training sessions. Love that!

My car is so easy to spot in traffic or in a crowded parking lot.Ā I always am getting texts from friends and clients saying they just say me buzz down some road or saw me parked outside Trader Joes(since I practically live there).

So look out for this Scottsdale personal trainer burning rubber down your streets.

And remember, this Scottsdale personal trainer can train you in the studio located in the Scottsdale Air park, orĀ in the comfort of your own home (if you don’t mind the old beater parked out in front of your house ).
