			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/about/">Scottsdale personal trainer</a> I bet you can guess what one of my favorite TV shows is? That&#8217;s right. The Biggest Loser.</p><p>I find myself especially tuned in during the &#8220;workout&#8221; parts&#8230; ya know, the parts where Jillian is screaming like a maniac for ten more reps and Bob is hugging someone while they cry together?</p><p>Yeah, those parts.</p><p>I learn so much from Bob and Jillian. I take a little piece of what I like from both of them and insert it into my sessions. You see, being a good Scottsdale personal trainer is about getting to know people and how they work. <span id="more-725"></span>As a <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/about/">Scottsdale personal trainer</a>, it is incredibly important to know that each client is different, therefore, requiring a different training method from me. Some clients NEED and WANT me to scream in their face and yell at them like a drill sergeant. While other <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/client-stories/weight-loss-machine/">clients</a> need me to be more soft and encouraging while pushing them.Â And even others, need me to be the bubbly cheerleader who does cartwheels for them through each exercise.</p><p>It is my job as a Scottsdale personal trainer to figure out what style and approach is going to work best for each <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/client-stories/still-a-babe-at-55/">client</a>. This is not to say that I am harder on some of my clients, while others get off easy. I kick all my clients&#8217; butts each time- but the tone and volumeÂ and &#8220;dance&#8221;Â I deliver for each client varies. =) One session I may need to be more like the Jillian and the next session I may need to be more like the Bob.</p><p>As a Scottsdale personal trainer, I have learned so much of this skill by watching Bob and Jillian on the Biggest Loser.</p><p>You see, everyone assumes Jillian is the unrelenting total bad ass that loves to torture the contestants. They market her as the &#8220;villian&#8221; personal trainer, but really Jillian is a big ole&#8217; softy at times. Sure she knows how to get loud and bark, but she also knows how to nurture and inspire too!Â Bob has some bite in him as well&#8230; I know he is meant to be the &#8220;kinder&#8221; personal trainer who doesn&#8217;t yell as much&#8230;BUT the truth is he can way more ruthless than Jillian at times. His trainees sweat<em> just as much</em> as Jillian&#8217;s.</p><p>What makes Bob and Jillian so good at what they do is their ability to adapt and change&#8230; they know when to DEMAND MORE and ride their trainees to the brink&#8230; and then they also know when to back off and sometimes even just sit down and talk shit through. This is a true art and Bob and Jillian have it mastered.</p><p>Bob and Jillian know what each contestant needs because they get deeply involved in each individual contestants personal story. They dig into their history and they figure out where each contestant came from and what experiences made each contestant who they are. Bob and Jillian do their research by investing in their trainees emotionally.</p><p>As a <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/about/">Scottsdale personal trainer </a>of 8 years now I am always growing and learning this art more and more. I am so grateful that such an uplifting show like Biggest Loser is a world- wide- watched success and that I get to take notes fromÂ it <img src='http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p><p>Though my sessions and workouts may never be televised for everyone to critique, I will always run my business with this kind of goal in mind. The goal to always deliver an <a href="http://bringingyoufitness.com/blog/category/fitness-tips/compound-movements/">awesome work out</a> while getting to know each client individually.
