Ok, so here is the deal on frozen foods!

As a Scottsdale personal trainer, I am not big on frozen food, because they are typically heavy laden with salt and other preservatives.

Yet, I totally understand that life gets crazy busy and sometimes there is nothing more convenient than pulling out a frozen meal when you are in a rush.

So, since it probably can not be entirely avoided, you should know the top 4 brands that I, as a Scottsdale personal trainer, would recommend to you:

In general, I suggest sticking to brands such as Kashi, Amys, Organic Bistro, and Trader Joes . These brands tend to be healthier, tastier, and best over all nutritionally balanced.

Even within these suggested brands make sure they have less than 700 mg of sodium, at least 3 grams of fiber, and ten grams of protein, no more than 15 grams of fat, and less than 500 calories.
